Who's your top Author?

I made it my job this year to read author who have world that are more then one series and see where they are connected or what order is best to get the best live out of the story❤️#favoriteauthor #2024reads

... Read moreSo, you've stumbled into the amazing, intricate, and sometimes overwhelming world of Lani Lynn Vale, haven't you? Like me, you're probably hooked after just a few books and then realize... wait, everyone seems to know *everyone*! That's exactly why I made it my mission this year to truly dive into authors who build these massive, interconnected universes, and Lani Lynn Vale is a prime example, topping my 'most read authors' list with a whopping 57 books under her belt! It’s not just about enjoying one standalone story; it’s about experiencing a whole community, seeing characters you loved from one series pop up in another, often years later, with their own families and dramas. This is where the 'character family tree' aspect becomes crucial. For Lani Lynn Vale, her worlds often merge and intertwine, especially across her various law enforcement and biker series. Understanding these connections isn't just a fun Easter egg hunt; it genuinely enhances the emotional depth and enjoyment of each new book. You get to see beloved characters grow, their children find their own stories, and the ripple effects of past events play out through generations. One of the best ways I’ve found to navigate this delightful maze is to pay close attention to the dedications and acknowledgments, as well as character mentions throughout the books. Sometimes, a casual reference to 'my cousin so-and-so from the Wrecking Crew' is your clue that you're in a connected universe. I've personally started keeping a small notebook (or a digital note!) with character names, their spouses, kids, and which series they primarily belong to. It sounds like a lot, but trust me, it’s incredibly satisfying when you piece it all together! Especially with an author as prolific as Lani Lynn Vale, having a little personal guide can make all the difference in truly appreciating the vast tapestry she weaves. While there isn't one definitive, official 'Lani Lynn Vale character family tree' chart provided by the author (at least not that I've found easily!), many dedicated fan communities online have tried to compile them. These can be fantastic resources if you're feeling lost. However, my personal recommendation is to embrace the journey. Start with a series that catches your eye, and then, as you meet characters, follow the threads. If a secondary character intrigues you and they get their own book or series, jump to that! The beauty of Lani Lynn Vale's writing is that each book generally can stand alone, but they shine even brighter when you recognize the broader context. So, if you're like me, constantly trying to connect the dots between the characters in her 57+ books, don't feel overwhelmed! It's part of the fun of being a dedicated reader in such a rich literary world. Happy reading, and may your character family tree be ever-expanding!

How to become an Author
Here are my tips and tricks for you guys: 1. Just start writing. Don’t focus on writing a full on book the first time you sit down. I started by writing about my own life. I took memories or things I imagined and wrote them down. From that the ideas started flooding in. 2. When you have a
