I love spending money tho

2/3 Edited to

... Read moreFrom personal experience, balancing the benefits of a good-paying job against the toll of a toxic work environment can be quite challenging. Even when the salary and benefits are attractive, the emotional and mental strain caused by workplace toxicity can make you question your priorities and well-being. I often found myself torn between the financial freedom to enjoy spending money and the negative feelings brought on by the atmosphere at work. A significant part of coping involved acknowledging the impact on my mental health and setting boundaries where possible, including exploring options for remote work (#wfhlife), which can sometimes mitigate direct exposure to toxic interactions but may not completely solve the underlying issues. It's important to remember that no paycheck is worth sacrificing your mental health, and looking for support, whether through colleagues, counseling, or considering career changes, can be vital. Sharing this experience with others helped me realize that many are in similar situations, feeling stuck because of financial commitments but aware of the cost to their mental wellness. If you’re in a similar position, it might help to track which parts of the job drain you most and actively seek small ways to improve your environment or mindset. Ultimately, loving to spend money is rewarding only when it doesn’t come at the cost of your mental peace. Balancing these aspects requires honest self-reflection and sometimes difficult decisions, but prioritizing mental health ensures long-term happiness and career fulfillment.
