🍓 I Added ONE Ingredient… and These Raspberry Rolls Went Crazy!

I saw the new Pillsbury Grands! Poppin’ Flavor Raspberry Fruit Rolls at Walmart and immediately knew I had to try them. Of course, I couldn’t leave them plain—I wanted to see if I could take them to the next level with just a few simple additions.

Safe to say… this experiment was a success! 😍

⭐ Ingredients

• 1 can Pillsbury Grands! Poppin’ Flavor Raspberry Fruit Rolls

• ¼ cup heavy whipping cream

• Oreo Medium Cookie Pieces (as much or as little as you like)

• Icing packet (included with the rolls)

👩🏽‍🍳 Directions

Step 1: Preheat your oven according to the directions on the Pillsbury can.

Step 2: Place the raspberry rolls into a baking dish, leaving a little space between each roll.

Step 3: Pour ¼ cup of heavy whipping cream evenly around the rolls. Try not to pour it directly on top—the cream around the rolls helps keep them extra soft and gooey while they bake.

Step 4: Bake according to the package directions until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.

Step 5: Once they come out of the oven, immediately drizzle the icing over the warm rolls.

Step 6: Sprinkle Oreo cookie pieces over the top while the icing is still warm so the cookie pieces stick.

🍴 My Review

These were soft, buttery, gooey, and packed with raspberry flavor. The heavy whipping cream made the rolls incredibly moist, while the Oreo pieces added a crunchy chocolate cookies-and-cream texture that balanced the sweet raspberry filling surprisingly well.

I honestly wasn’t sure if raspberry and Oreos would work together, but they definitely did! I’d make these again when I want a quick dessert that tastes a little more homemade than opening a can of cinnamon rolls.

⭐ My Rating: 9/10

The only thing I’d change next time is adding even more Oreo pieces because I loved the extra crunch.

💬 Would you try Oreos on raspberry cinnamon rolls, or would you keep them classic? Let me know in the comments!

... Read moreWhen I first tried Pillsbury Grands! Poppin’ Flavor Raspberry Fruit Rolls, I was curious about how to make them feel more indulgent and homemade without spending too much time. Adding a quarter cup of heavy whipping cream around the rolls during baking turned out to be a game changer. The cream seeps between the rolls while cooking, making them incredibly moist and tender with that perfect gooey texture that can sometimes be hard to achieve with pre-packaged dough. What surprised me the most was pairing the raspberry rolls with crushed Oreo cookie pieces. I had my doubts about mixing fruity and chocolate flavors, but the crunchy cookies complemented the sweet, tart raspberry filling surprisingly well. The contrast between the soft, buttery rolls, the rich icing, and the crunchy Oreo bits created a delightful dessert experience that felt both comforting and unique. For anyone looking for a quick weekend treat or a fun dessert upgrade for gatherings, this method is worth trying. You don’t need extra fancy ingredients, just what comes in the package plus the cream and Oreos. Plus, the simplicity means you can experiment with other add-ins, like different cookie crumbs, nuts, or even a drizzle of chocolate sauce for an extra layer of flavor. Additionally, the use of heavy whipping cream highlights a cool baking hack: adding fats or liquids adjacent to pastry dough can enhance softness and prevent dryness. It’s a trick I’ve used in other recipes to improve texture without complicated steps. I’d recommend sprinkling the cookie pieces immediately after drizzling the icing while the rolls are still warm to ensure they stick well. Also, feel free to adjust quantities to your taste—for me, doubling the Oreo pieces next time would add that perfect extra crunch. This recipe shows how small tweaks can breathe new life into store-bought dough, transforming it from ordinary to extraordinary with minimal fuss. I’d love to see what variations others might try—whether it’s swapping fruit flavors, different cookie toppings, or adding a hint of cinnamon or vanilla extract to the cream for an extra aroma boost.
