My past planted me, this is what grew

A reincarnation of roots ❤️

... Read moreReflecting on the metaphor 'My past planted me, this is what grew' offers a meaningful perspective on how our experiences shape who we become. Just like a tree’s roots anchor it and absorb nutrients essential for growth, our past provides the foundation and lessons that influence our personal development. Embracing this idea encourages a deep appreciation for where we come from, including the challenges and successes that have contributed to our character. In my own experience, recognizing and accepting my past has been crucial to my growth. There were moments when old wounds or mistakes felt like setbacks, but in hindsight, they acted as essential nutrients that strengthened my resilience and guided me toward self-awareness. This process reminded me that growth is not always linear; sometimes, it involves periods of rest, reflection, or even struggle before flourishing. Moreover, nurturing our roots can mean reconnecting with our heritage, values, and early influences to better understand our identity. It’s about honoring experiences—both good and bad—and allowing them to inform our current path without being limited by them. This mindset can foster greater emotional healing, self-confidence, and purpose. By viewing our past as a garden that we tend rather than a burden we carry, we empower ourselves to grow authentically. Whether it’s through journaling, meditation, or conversations with loved ones, cultivating awareness of our roots allows us to take pride in our unique journey and the person we have become. This perspective ultimately promotes personal fulfillment and a meaningful sense of self.

🌿 Growing What God Planted: Walking in the Fruits of the Spirit
There’s something so powerful about slowing down and really looking at the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23). These aren’t just “good qualities” to try on when life is easy, this is the evidence of God actively working in us. Love that chooses others even when it’s inconvenient (John 15:12).

Accidentally Grew These on My Balcony 😳🌱
This seed trick actually works. I wrapped green bean seeds in a damp paper towel, sealed them in a plastic bag… then forgot about them for a week 🤯 They sprouted like crazy! I gently untangled the roots and planted them right away — just 3 days later, they were already thriving on my balcony.
