If you haven't heard of it, it's basically a fun way to groove to her classic hits. My wife and I love finding these little trends on social media to keep things exciting at home. It's not about being a professional dancer; it's about having a laugh, letting loose, and maybe even earning a delicious meal! We always encourage each other to try new things, and this challenge was perfect for a spontaneous, fun evening. Sometimes, all it takes is a catchy tune and a promise of good food to get things moving. If you're looking for a fun couple's activity or just something to get your family laughing, I highly recommend finding a dance challenge that speaks to you. Don't worry about perfection, just focus on the joy! Now, onto the main event: those mouth-watering carne asada tacos! My wife's dancing definitely earned these. Here's our go-to recipe for making them at home – it’s surprisingly simple and always a hit. Our Super Easy Carne Asada Tacos Recipe What you'll need: 1.5 lbs flank steak or skirt steak 1/4 cup olive oil Juice of 2-3 limes 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp dried oregano Salt and pepper to taste Corn tortillas For topping ideas: Diced white onion, chopped cilantro, cotija cheese, salsa verde, a squeeze of fresh lime. Let's get cooking: Marinate the Steak: In a shallow dish or a Ziploc bag, combine the olive oil, lime juice, cilantro, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the steak, making sure it's fully coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or for best results, 2-4 hours. You can even do this overnight! They should be pliable and slightly toasted. Assemble Your Tacos: Pile the sliced carne asada into the warm tortillas. Top with your favorite fixings – we love a simple combo of diced white onion, fresh cilantro, and a generous splash of salsa verde. Don't forget that extra squeeze of lime juice! There you have it! A delicious meal that's perfect for celebrating a dance challenge victory or just enjoying a regular weeknight.
