morning ride
hi friends! let’s do a quick life update:
on thursday, I went to the hospital with contractions and spotting, I was there all day while they were running test and they determined I was in pre term labor. this isn’t my first time experiencing this, in fact, at 28 weeks with my last pregnancy I was in preterm labor as well, the spooky thing is, I was exactly 28 weeks this time too.
anyways, I was released but I need to seriously rest my body (which isn’t easy when i’m chasing around a 1 year old all day). so I took some time off from the gym and instead of lifting weights, I decided to do light work on the bike to move body.
20 minutes of light movement is exactly what I needed to clear my head and help avoid the depression of being stuck inside all day everyday. my focus is no longer on trying to stay active this pregnancy, but to just keep my baby safe
Pregnancy can bring many unexpected challenges, like preterm labor, which I experienced again at 28 weeks.
