When I first heard 'Sticky,' the immediate vibe felt very rooted in his signature alternative hip-hop sound, but with so many layers. The production, typical of Tyler, is incredibly rich and detailed. The beat itself has this raw, almost lo-fi quality juxtaposed with sophisticated samples and intricate drum patterns. It doesn't just sit in one lane; it swerves between hard-hitting moments and more melodic, almost soulful passages. That's where the genre question really starts getting tricky for me. Some might instantly label it hip-hop, and yes, it definitely has strong hip-hop foundations with Tyler's distinctive vocal delivery and storytelling.
