6 & 7-figure Black women entrepreneurs seem to wear “I don’t need help” and “I’m a workaholic” like it’s a fucking badge of honor.
I used to be Ms. Independent, Ms. I Can Do It On My Own and it wasn’t until God told me:
“You don’t need me. You’re Ms. Independent. You can do it on your own”
that I realized how stressful the success that I created had been.
I never asked for help. I never wanted to “need” anyone and whether I was aware of it or not, God and ALL God’s Infinite resources was a part of that.
And then I decided to LET, let go of that identity and Let God help me through others, through mentorship, and through surrender.
That letting led me to call in money in my sleep every day for the last 8 months.
Until you shift these 3 levels, you will continue to operate in survival mode, burn out, and stress.
The 3 levels that must be recalibrated for “ease & flow” success:
🦋Identity
🦋Frequency
🦋Nervous System
When ALL 3 levels are recalibrated, success is no longer something you work for, something you get on your own. Success becomes the natural consequence of who you are.

Because believing you don’t need help or you’re workaholic is not the flex you think it is🦋

From my own experience as an entrepreneur, I can attest that the bravado of 'I don't need help' can quickly become a heavy, isolating burden. I used to pride myself on being completely independent, pushing through every challenge on my own, convinced that seeking assistance was a sign of weakness. But what I learned at a deep level is that true growth and ease in success comes when you surrender that mindset and open yourself up to external support—whether from mentors, peers, or even spiritual guidance. Recalibrating your identity means shifting away from the badge of self-reliance and redefining who you are in a way that welcomes collaboration and help. This internal adjustment has a profound impact on the frequency you emit—your energy and vibrations—making you more receptive to opportunities and abundance. Equally important is nurturing your nervous system. High-achieving entrepreneurs often run on adrenaline and stress, which can disrupt your ability to receive and manifest success effortlessly. I found that prioritizing my nervous system’s safety through mindful practices like meditation and slow breathing helped me sustain a state of calm empowerment. This three-tiered recalibration—the identity shift, frequency tuning, and nervous system care—creates a powerful foundation. When aligned, success stops feeling like something you must grind incessantly for; instead, it becomes a natural byproduct of who you are. For anyone struggling with burnout or feeling stuck despite hard work, embracing these recalibration principles might just be the game-changer you need to step into ease and flow. The message here resonates especially within communities of Black women entrepreneurs, where the cultural celebration of relentless work ethic can sometimes overshadow the need for rest and support. Remember, asking for help isn’t a weakness; it’s a strategic act of empowerment that allows the divine and collective resources to flow through you. This mindset shift doesn’t just alleviate stress—it actually invites greater financial and personal abundance, as demonstrated by consistently calling in money even in your sleep, as shared in the original post. Incorporating these insights into your daily life can begin with small steps: identifying areas where you resist help, experimenting with energy-frequency raising activities like affirmations or sound therapy, and committing to regular practices to soothe and regulate your nervous system. Over time, these changes accumulate, leading to a transformation in not just your business outcomes but your overall wellbeing and sense of purpose.
