My first speaking opportunity

What if the idea you came up with on your couch could actually change the world?

I had the honor of delivering my first-ever keynote, and I talked about building community at a global scale. I was nervous, emotional, and beyond grateful… and the response completely blew me away.

So many of you reached out, asked questions, and shared how much the message resonated. And that reminded me: this conversation can’t stop on stage.

Starting next month, I’ll be sharing parts of that keynote here: the lessons I’ve learned, the wins and the losses, the things I wish I knew sooner, and all the ways I messed up so you don’t have to.

Because taking your idea from couch to community is possible. And I’m living proof that it doesn’t have to be perfect… it just has to be real.

During my first keynote, I learned that sharing personal experiences fosters connections and encourages others to pursue their dreams. Community building is not just about networking—it's about creating meaningful interactions that resonate and inspire. Many successful speakers emphasize the importance of authenticity in their messages. This resonance, as reflected in my keynote, can ignite passion among the audience, prompting them to seek more information and engage in dialogue after the event. I aim to share lessons learned from my speaking journey, focusing on practical strategies for nurturing communities in various fields. From understanding audience dynamics to effective storytelling, every aspect plays a role in community engagement. Additionally, it is vital to embrace imperfections in this process; it reminds us that growth comes from our challenges and experiences. I look forward to continuing this conversation, diving deeper into topics like the power of shared narratives and the methods to cultivate supportive spaces where ideas can flourish.
