🗓️ Morning in the life of a 3rd grade teacher!
🎬 Put up my slides for the day! I always have to start by putting my slides on the board! The kids take lunch count this way, so it has to be up when they arrive.
☕️ I don’t like to drink coffee without eating. On mornings that I don’t have a lot of time, these protein shakes are great!
👗 OOTD! When I’m running late I love the shackets with leggings vibe in the winter.
💯 I empty out their turn in bins and stick them here until planning time!
📄 We have math homework M-TH. When they come in, they have to turn it in. I correct it and give feedback immediately, so that they’re ready for a new lesson! Or I readjust my math lesson for the day to review a skill if a lot of them got it incorrect!
💡minimal overhead lights in this class always!!!
👯♀️ Somehow I had time to make copies today?! Go me!! These are our fluency passages I use sometimes. They are from TPT & go along with Fundations.
👛 If you don’t have a Fanny pack on all day, what are you doing?! Student needs a band aid? Got it. I see them doing something great, have my pompoms ready to go (I do bucket fillers), need chapstick? Got it. Student needs more lines on their paper, I have my line roller in there. It’s just amazing and I couldn’t teach without it!
🫶🏼 ANNDDD were ready to go!! I graded a few things before the kids came, and then I usually great them at the door 😊
