The struggles of an author

As an author, I have many struggles. Sometimes, finding all the right words is one of them. What struggles do you have as an author?

... Read moreBeing an author can be an exhilarating yet challenging journey, filled with unique struggles that often go unspoken. Many aspiring writers aim to produce a specific word count each day, such as 2000 words, only to find themselves stuck at far lower numbers, reflecting the real struggles of writing productivity. Common difficulties include writer's block, self-doubt, and the balancing act of creativity and discipline. Writer's block, often depicted humorously in memes, can leave authors feeling frustrated and unproductive. Self-doubt may arise as writers compare their work to others or question their talent. To combat these issues, authors can adopt various techniques. Setting smaller, achievable goals rather than overwhelming targets can be beneficial. For instance, instead of striving for 2000 words at once, aim for 500 words and then take a break. Establishing a routine, finding the right writing environment, and incorporating regular feedback from peers can also aid in the writing process. Additionally, joining writing communities, whether online or in-person, can provide support and encouragement. Sharing experiences, tips, and even failures can foster a sense of belonging and motivation. By openly discussing struggles, authors can realize they are not alone in their challenges. Ultimately, the journey of an author involves perseverance, self-compassion, and continuous learning. Embracing the difficulties can lead to personal growth and enhance creativity, paving the way to becoming not only a more productive writer but also a happier one.

How to become an Author
Here are my tips and tricks for you guys: 1. Just start writing. Don’t focus on writing a full on book the first time you sit down. I started by writing about my own life. I took memories or things I imagined and wrote them down. From that the ideas started flooding in. 2. When you have a
