Yet, from my personal journey and reflection on Scripture, such seasons also become powerful opportunities to deepen our faith and rely more fully on God’s provision. For instance, the story of Abraham in Genesis 22 reminds us that God is Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides. Even when resources seem scarce, God’s provision is always near. During a period of financial uncertainty, I found strength in daily prayers and meditating on verses such as Psalm 37:5, “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.” This encouraged me not to be overwhelmed by bills or fear, but to focus on trusting God’s timing and abundance. Practically, while maintaining faith, it's also important to plan and manage available resources wisely. Combining trust in God with responsible budgeting and seeking community support helped ease the anxiety. Some weeks were tough, but trusting God when the bills piled up helped transform my mindset from fear to peace. If you’re walking through a similar challenge, remember that financial hardship doesn’t define your future. Prayer, scripture study, and leaning on God’s promises can nourish your spirit and give practical hope. Sharing openly with trusted friends or faith groups can also provide encouragement and practical help. In these moments, faith truly becomes the foundation that carries us through the storms.
