🌸When we need to forgive ourselves for allowing anyone to miss treat us🌸
I thought I was healed, the part I need to heal is to forgive myself for allowing people, places and things to come before myself. Today I have healthy boundaries that I set for my life. Today I know how to walk away from people, places and things that no longer serve me although it may hurt, but that’s temporarily I won’t hurt forever and nor would you so I say to you today, let it go because it’s not worth you losing your soul🙏🏾 #healingjourney💪🏾 #embracehealing #yoursoul #mysoul #iamhealing
Reflecting on my own experiences, I realize how crucial it is to forgive myself for the times I let others' harmful actions affect me deeply. At first, it felt impossible to accept that I allowed certain people and situations to hurt me repeatedly. However, embracing forgiveness toward myself was the pivotal step toward genuine healing. Setting clear and healthy boundaries transformed my life. It wasn’t easy walking away from familiar places or relationships that no longer served me, especially when emotional attachments were strong. But I learned that temporary discomfort is worth the long-term peace of mind and self-respect. One helpful practice was regularly reminding myself that my soul’s well-being matters most. When I’d catch myself slipping into old patterns, I’d return to affirmations that reinforced my worthiness and strength. Over time, this empowered me to respond rather than react to mistreatment. Additionally, I found support through mindfulness and journaling, which helped me identify triggers and cultivate compassion for my healing process. By embracing this journey, I discovered resilience and a deeper connection with my authentic self. If you're struggling to forgive yourself or set boundaries, know that it’s okay to move at your own pace. Healing is not linear, and every step forward, no matter how small, is progress. Letting go of what drains your soul frees you to thrive and attract positivity. Remember, you deserve to live a life where you are respected, valued, and loved—starting with by yourself.
