March Books I read with quotes

#bookwormsoflemon8 #lemon8challenge #marchreads #bookquotes #booksoflemon8

These are the books I read in March including my DNF list since I stopped reading one.

The Spellshop: A woman and a sentient spider plant flee from the capitol of Alyssium with spell books from the library they worked at, and set sail back to her childhood home. She meets a man who was the little boy she knew when she and her family left for the capitol. Trouble from the capitol finds it's way to the island and she has to rely on her witts and the town's help to not get caught with illegal magic.

Don't Let the Forest in: Book about two boys who have to fight monsters while hiding from being caught out in the forest. Psychological thriller.

Cinder: Book based along the lines of Cinderella but in a post modern civilization battling a plague. Cinder is an adopted cyborg.

Just Desserts: A cop who gets fired over a car and then becomes a private investigator/detective to finish solving the murder case.

The Full Moon Coffee Shop: a pop-up coffee shop run by cats shows up around people who have lost their way in life. The cats help out a group of people who end up being connected by more than just the coffee shop.

Don't Look For Me: A woman gets kidnapped by a man and his daughter. The woman's daughter looks for her even though police found a note telling family to not. Written in a duel POV. VERY UNDERRATED!

... Read moreMarch brings a fresh wave of literary exploration, and this month, I delved into an exciting range of books. From whimsical tales like "The Spellshop," where magical adventures unfold through the eyes of a woman and her sentient spider plant, to the psychological thrill of "Don't Let the Forest In," where daring boys confront fearsome monsters. Each story offers a distinct journey. "Cinder," a modern twist on the classic fairy tale, portrays a cyborg in a plague-stricken civilization, embodying resilience. Meanwhile, "Just Desserts" introduces us to a former cop turned private investigator, unveiling the depths of human intrigue. As for the heartwarming "The Full Moon Coffee Shop," it operates as a beacon of connection for those lost in life's chaos, with the help of feline friends. Lastly, "Don't Look For Me" presents a gripping narrative of survival, as a mother navigates her kidnapping escapade while her daughter defies orders to uncover the truth. Each of these stories not only entertains but also resonates deeply, highlighting the power of quotes that capture their essence. For instance, as Sarah Beth Durst puts it, "Every home needs a little magic!" These titles offer a blend of enchantment, suspense, and impactful quotes that keep readers coming back for more.
