Born and raised in New Orleans during one of the best eras, wrapped in love, spoiled just enough, and covered by amazing parents, grandparents, and siblings. The only girl and the baby with a whole lineup of brothers—so let’s be clear… softness had to coexist with strength. Being tough wasn’t optional; it was training. Period.
I became the proud mother of three incredible grown children and the blessed grandmother of one super handsome grandson—my heart outside my body, times four. 💛
Then life added its layers… the military, surviving Katrina, and a federal government career that taught discipline, resilience, and how to stand tall when life tries to knock the wind out of you. All of it shaped me. Every lesson. Every loss. Every win.
And somewhere in the middle of all that shaping, I never lost sight of how I wanted to live. I’ve always known my life was meant to be intentional, aligned, and on my terms.
Are there hard days? Absolutely. Some days feel downright disrespectful. 😌 But I refuse to let temporary struggle outweigh a lifetime of purpose, gratitude, and growth.
