📖 Reading of the Day: Life in God’s Kingdom — God’s Time to Shine
John 2:1-12
This reading spoke directly to my heart because it reminded me that God’s timing is always intentional, even when it doesn’t align with our own. At the wedding in Cana, Jesus had just begun His public ministry. Although His mother recognized His power, Jesus reminded her, “My hour has not yet come.” He was not operating on human expectations, pressure, or impatience. He was operating according to God’s divine timeline.
What stands out to me is that Jesus performed His first miracle quietly. He didn’t seek attention. He didn’t put on a show. He simply obeyed the Father and revealed His glory at the precise moment God ordained.
