AFib is scary

My heart rate was at 160ish.

I had never experienced such pain before. My heart ❤️ was beating so fast and hard. God kept me 🙌🏽 I didn’t know what to expect at the moment but I prayed and prayed for God to give me relief. I prayed for God to wow the doctors. Well he did! All test came back negative. No blockages in my heart. I am so thankful that my life was spared for much longer. God has blessed me with the grace and mercy. I give all praise to him 🙌🏽 Another test turned in to a testimony 🙌🏽🙏🏽❤️

... Read moreAtrial fibrillation (AFib) is a common yet serious heart condition that can lead to various complications, including stroke and heart failure. Symptoms often include a fluttering sensation in the chest, palpitations, and fatigue. It's crucial to seek medical attention if symptoms arise, as timely intervention is essential. AFib monitoring through ECG can guide diagnosis and treatment, potentially including medications or lifestyle changes. Understanding your condition can empower you to make informed decisions about your health. Support groups and resources can also provide reassurance and shared experiences for individuals facing similar situations. Always consult healthcare professionals when in doubt to ensure your heart health is monitored and maintained. The impact of faith during health crises cannot be understated, as many individuals find strength and hope through their beliefs. The role of spirituality may provide comfort during difficult times, encouraging individuals to trust the process and the journey towards recovery. In addition, lifestyle adjustments like a balanced diet and regular exercise can enhance overall cardiovascular health. It's important to actively engage in your health journey, whether through lifestyle changes, medical interventions, or spiritual support.

How to Titrate Cardizem Drips as a RN
I’ll never forget the first time I had to titrate a Cardizem (diltiazem) drip. I was a brand-new nurse on the floor, fresh out of orientation, and my patient suddenly went into rapid afib. My hands were shaking as I stared at the IV pump, trying to remember everything my preceptor had told me. W
