In my personal journey, putting God first has profoundly transformed how I handle life's ups and downs. Recognizing that "GOD is MY STRENGTH" is more than just a phrase—it's a daily reminder to lean on a higher power when facing difficulties. Prayer becomes a meaningful conversation, where asking for help, offering thanks, and seeking forgiveness fosters deep spiritual connection. I often reflect on the prayer prompts such as "Is there anything you need to say sorry for?" and "What do you want to thank God for?" These help me stay mindful and grateful, even during stressful times. The encouragement to help others through prayer also expands this practice beyond myself, creating a community of support and compassion. Matthew 5:16, which says "Let your light shine," inspires me to live out my faith openly and positively. This light is nourished daily by leaning on God’s path, as the acronym HELP suggests: He Hears, Everything, Lean, Path. Embracing this approach has given me peace and resilience. For anyone seeking strength or purpose, I highly recommend starting each day with intentional prayers focusing on gratitude and guidance. Putting God first isn't about perfection but about continual growth and trust. It creates a foundation that makes challenges manageable and relationships richer.
