... Read moreIt's a beautiful truth, isn't it? The simple yet profound message: "CALL TO GOD & HE WILL ANSWER." This powerful promise, echoed in Jeremiah 33:3, has been a cornerstone of my faith journey. Like many, I've experienced moments of doubt, wondering if my prayers truly reach divine ears. Yet, time and again, I've witnessed God's faithfulness in responding, sometimes in ways I expected, and other times in ways that taught me incredible lessons about trust and surrender.
Often, we hope for an immediate 'Yes' to our requests. I remember praying fervently for a job opportunity that seemed perfect for me at the time. I poured my heart out, saying "Lord, please, let this be it!" When I got the call that I didn't get the position, I was devastated. It felt like God hadn't heard me, or worse, hadn't cared. But looking back, I can clearly see how that 'No' was a protective answer. It steered me away from a path that wouldn't have aligned with my true callings, eventually leading me to an even more fulfilling role I couldn't have imagined then. It taught me that sometimes, a 'No' is simply God's way of saying, "I have something better in store for you."
Then there are the 'Wait' seasons. These are often the hardest, testing our patience and perseverance. I once prayed for a loved one's healing for what felt like an eternity. Every day, I would pray, believing that God hears us when we pray, even when the situation seemed stagnant. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. During this time of waiting, I found immense comfort in scriptures like Psalm 54:2, which says, "Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth." It reminded me that even if the answer wasn't immediate, my prayers were being heard. The waiting period wasn't empty; it was a time of spiritual growth for me and my family, drawing us closer together and strengthening our faith. When the healing eventually came, it was a testament to God's perfect timing and a deeper appreciation for His power.
And of course, there are the wonderful 'Yes' answers! These moments are pure joy, confirming His presence and love. I recall a time when I was incredibly worried about a difficult decision. I prayed for clarity and guidance, asking for a clear sign. Within days, an unexpected conversation provided exactly the insight I needed, and doors opened that I hadn't even considered. It was a beautiful reminder that when we call to God, He truly does answer.
These experiences, whether a 'Yes,' 'No,' or 'Wait,' are all blessings. They underscore the incredible truth that our faith is not in vain, and our prayers are never ignored. As we reflect on these profound connections, especially during times of hope and renewal like Easter, we are reminded of the ultimate blessings God bestows upon us. The spirit of Easter, with its message of resurrection and new beginnings, beautifully aligns with the hope we find in answered prayers and the trust in God's divine plan. It’s about living out our "CHOSEN Values" every day, knowing that our loving God is always listening and always responding in His perfect way. May your faith be continually strengthened by recognizing His answers in every season of your life.
