One of the highlights is wandering through the photo-worthy alleys lined with traditional wooden hanok houses that have been preserved for centuries. Each narrow street offers an opportunity to capture unique and artistic shots, especially near the Bukchon Cultural Center and charming cafes like OSULLOC, which offers a peaceful retreat with its specialty teas. For a truly immersive cultural experience, I highly recommend trying on a Hanbok, Korea's traditional dress, nearby. It enhances your visit and makes exploring the village feel even more authentic. Places like the Hanbok Experience shops close to the village provide rental services that are easy to use. Another gem in the area is the Jeongdok Public Library, known not only for its architectural beauty but also for its seasonal blooms, creating a serene environment for relaxation or reading. Bukchon is surrounded by several iconic landmarks worth exploring, including Gyeongbokgung Palace—a majestic royal palace that offers stunning traditional architecture and changing of the guard ceremonies. Similarly, Changdeokgung Palace and the Insa-dong neighborhood, known for its art galleries and antique shops, are just a short walk away, making Bukchon a perfect base for a cultural day trip. As someone who has explored Seoul multiple times, Bukchon always feels like a living museum where history and daily life elegantly coexist. Whether you are a photography lover, history enthusiast, or just looking to enjoy a peaceful walk, Bukchon Hanok Village is a must-visit destination that beautifully showcases Seoul’s heritage and charm.

Korean glamping made easy 😍 This place is called Bukhansan Dulle Camp! It’s in Seoul so the taxi fare is quite inexpensive, and it’s also walking distance to a hanok village that’s quieter than Bukchon hehe
