Cake & Sip
Tried Something New for Cinco de Mayo!
Yesterday, I took myself out on purpose. The Cake & Sip hosted by @daisybakedit was the plan and I made it with the full intention of spending time alone, while still being out and around new energy. Sometimes you just want to be surrounded by strangers, no pressure, no expectations… just vibes.
As soon as I stepped off the elevator, I was greeted with a smooth shot of tequila. I don’t know what they put in it, but whew! There was a taco bar, unlimited margaritas, and we each got to decorate our own 5-inch cake. I met some really great people in the process.
I love dating me. Because what is self-care if you can’t hang with yourself? Why would anyone else want to?
This experience was peaceful, fun, and different. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
