For lunch, the seafood selection was shrimp, mussels, clams, and oysters. Everything was fresh and well-stocked. Honestly, the food gets a 10/10 for a lunch buffet in this price range.
The only downside was our waitress, who wasn’t very friendly. Not sure if it was a cultural or language barrier. I’ve seen other reviews saying the same. The busboy was super nice. My favorite part was the boba tea station. The passion fruit boba was the best. They also had a good dessert bar and an ice cream section where you can eat it there or take one to go.
Aurora is affordable, clean, and offers plenty of variety. It’s not the buffet I’d pick for a big “let’s go eat good” moment, but it is a solid option when you want choices without spending a lot. And honestly… that passion fruit boba might bring me back by itself.

Building on my initial visit, I wanted to share a few more tips and observations to help you make the most of your trip to Aurora Seafood & Grill Buffet in Baltimore. Since it's a newer spot—I even remember the buzz around its Grand Opening—there's a wonderfully fresh and clean feel to the place, which is always a huge plus for a buffet. Let’s talk more about the food, especially the seafood! While the original review highlighted shrimp, mussels, clams, and oysters, I want to emphasize the quality. The steamed shrimp were perfectly cooked, juicy, and weren't sitting around too long. The mussels and clams were plump and served in a savory, slightly garlicky broth that made them incredibly flavorful. And the oysters on the half-shell? A genuine score for a buffet at this price point! They were fresh and briny, exactly what you hope for. Beyond these, I also spotted a good variety of well-prepared fried items, like crispy fish fillets and perfectly seasoned fries, which are great for rounding out your plate if you’re looking for something different. The boba tea station is truly a standout feature. It’s more than just an afterthought; they offer a selection of flavors and toppings, making it a fun, customizable drink experience. That passion fruit boba really is a reason to return on its own! And don't skip the dessert bar. It wasn’t just basic cookies; I saw an array of mini cakes, fruit tarts, and a soft-serve ice cream machine with various toppings. It felt like a proper sweet ending to the meal, adding significantly to the overall value. When you consider the weekday lunch price of $17.99 for adults, it’s an incredible deal. You’re getting unlimited fresh seafood, a wide range of hot dishes, salads, and that fantastic boba and dessert bar. The dinner price jumps to $25.99, and I’ve heard they often add more premium items like crab legs or more elaborate specialty dishes during dinner and on weekends. My personal advice? If your main goal is fresh seafood and variety without splurging too much, the weekday lunch is unbeatable. If you're looking for a more extensive selection and don't mind the higher price, save it for a dinner or weekend treat. Regarding service, while my experience with one server was a little stiff, I've found that individual server interactions at buffets can vary, as much of the dining experience is self-serve. However, the busboy was incredibly diligent, clearing plates promptly and keeping our table tidy, which contributed greatly to a pleasant dining environment. A little tip: most staff are usually happy to assist if you politely ask for something specific. This buffet is ideal for families, groups with varied tastes, or anyone looking for a substantial, affordable meal with tons of choices. It’s clean, well-maintained, and the food quality for the price is genuinely impressive. It delivers a satisfying and varied buffet experience that I’d definitely recommend checking out if you’re in Baltimore!
