Tell Me What Really Happened
Five friends embark on a camping adventure, but only four return home.
I found the writing style of this book to be quite distinctive. Each character presents their perspective as if they’re participating in a police interrogation.
The reason I rated it a bit lower is that there was an excessive amount of discussion about Bigfoot. While I get that it ties into the conclusion, it felt a bit overwhelming for my liking.

In 'Tell Me What Really Happened,' readers are taken on a suspenseful journey that revolves around a group of friends whose camping trip goes awry. The book uniquely employs a format akin to police interrogations, giving each character a chance to narrate their own view of events as they unfold. The narrative style effectively immerses readers in the story, allowing them to witness different conflicting accounts leading to an engaging reading experience. However, while the integration of Bigfoot into the storyline adds layers of intrigue, some may find the emphasis on this subject matter quite heavy-handed. Author Chelsea Sedoti balances elements of mystery with character-driven storytelling, ensuring that the audience remains invested in the individual journeys of the characters. For those interested in contemporary thrillers interwoven with elements of folklore, this book presents a compelling case. Readers who appreciate a blend of adventure and suspense, along with a hint of supernatural folklore, will likely enjoy this thrilling narrative. Additionally, the exploration of friendship under duress raises thought-provoking questions about trust and loyalty among friends in crisis.

Yea I literally felt the same way abt her other book “the hundred lies of Lizzie Lovett” I just felt like she was repeating things in the book and it was like overwhelming in a way bc I just wanted to get to the point ☹️
