Reflecting

On this last day of 2025, I’m thankful for both the good and the bad of this year. I’m so grateful that He saved me from near death in March. I’m glad I’m still here to hug and hold my beautiful children and grandchildren. And this experience changed my life and my perspective in many ways.

I’m thankful for all the people I met this year and especially those who were brave enough to share the realest parts of themselves. He used authors who courageously shared their struggles with depression or the grief of losing a child. He used a worship leader who was vulnerable enough to belt out songs and lead a room full of people to invite His presence. He used pastors and speakers who shared their own struggles and pain. Seeing that kind of honesty and bravery in others has completely changed me.

My goal for 2026 is to be a little more brave too—to share my own testimony and speak openly about all that God has done in my life: the pain, the healing, and everything in between. If He can take all of my mess, my pain, and my life to help someone—anyone, I’m willing.

I also want to keep my heart fully surrendered to Him and allow Him to continue cleansing me of anything that doesn’t please Him. Whatever He has for me next, I’m ready, I’m willing, and I’m deeply grateful.

2026, I welcome you! #thankful #blessed #bebrave #2026 #montanasunset
