Weedsune Miku

2025/1/13 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! I'm so excited to share my latest fan art piece with you all, focusing on the popular 'Weedsune Miku' concept that many of you seem to love. I know the idea of 'Miku smoking' is quite a unique and edgy take on the classic character, and I really wanted to explore that side, giving her a rebellious yet chill vibe. When I started sketching, my goal was to create an anime-style character that felt both iconic and a little mysterious. I focused on her signature vibrant green pigtails, which are such a recognizable part of her look. To add to that intense, cool aesthetic, I gave her striking red eyes – they really pop and draw you into the piece. I imagined her making peace signs, a gesture that I think contrasts beautifully with the act of smoking a rolled item, with a wisp of exhaling smoke curling around her. It adds a layer of depth, showing a character who's both playful and a bit mischievous. I also made sure to include those subtle touches, like her rosy cheeks, to give her a bit of a flushed, lively look, balancing out the overall mood. For the background, I pictured some rustic dried botanical material to give it an earthy, laid-back atmosphere that complements the character's relaxed pose. It wasn't just about drawing Miku; it was about creating a whole mood and narrative around the 'Weedsune Miku' concept that I often see discussed online. Creating fan art like this is such a joy because it allows us to reinterpret beloved characters in new ways. The 'Miku smoking' theme is definitely one that sparks a lot of conversation, and I find it fascinating how artists can take a well-known figure and imbue them with different personalities and backstories through their work. This piece was a personal challenge to capture an edgy yet appealing aesthetic, making sure every detail, from the green pigtails to the faint exhaling smoke, contributed to the overall feeling. I hope this artwork gives you a fresh perspective on what an anime-style character can convey. It's truly a labor of love, and I enjoyed every moment of bringing this version of Miku to life. What are your thoughts on this unique take? I'd love to hear what you think in the comments below!
