Genesis chapter one

So I’m taking an attempt to write out the whole Bible as I’m sure many people are doing. I think it great to do this hand writing the Bible at least once in your life time!

I’m not always the greatest reader but I notice something

As you know if you read it God created the heaven and the earth and had separated the sky and to waters and land etc

verse 15-16 he talked about lights

15:there will be lights in the expanse of the sky to provide light on earth” and it was so.

16:God made the two great lights the greater light to rule over the day , the lesser light to rule over the night as well the stars.

He was talking about the sun, moon right? And the sunrise lights and sunset lights.

Sure I’d love me a good sunrise colors ! So many colors He create with the skies! It lovely

This chapter reveals how God created the universe, with a particular emphasis on light and celestial bodies. Verses 15 and 16 highlight the creation of lights in the sky—the sun to govern the day, the moon to govern the night, and the stars as well. These “two great lights” serve not only as sources of physical light but also as symbols of order and cycles in creation. The sunrise and sunset have inspired many throughout history, as they showcase a spectrum of colors that reflect the divine craftsmanship of the skies. From soft pinks to vibrant oranges and reds, these natural phenomena have been associated with hope, renewal, and beauty. Handwriting these verses encourages meditative reflection on the importance of light both physically and spiritually. Many readers find this practice strengthens their faith and connection to the scripture. Additionally, the separation of waters and the formation of the sky and land highlight the ordered structure within God’s creation, which sets the foundation for all life on earth. Understanding these elements enriches one’s appreciation not only for the biblical narrative but also for the natural world around us. Engaging with Genesis chapter one through writing, reading, and reflection invites readers to see the interplay of faith and nature, enhancing the experience of witnessing the colors of sunrises and sunsets as a celebration of divine light and creativity.
