National Nurses Day

I've had over a dozen surgeries, given birth to 6 kids, had 3 of them lifeflighted to bigger trauma hospitals. I've been Chronically ill for most of my life. I have mad respect for Nurses and what they endure daily at work. They are my voice to the Doctor.

🫂I especially want to honor my Daughter today, her big sister who is studying to be a nurse, my cousin and my many friends in the field. ❤️

This day is an opportunity to express gratitude for the compassionate dedication that nurses show, often in high-pressure situations. Nurses are vital in ensuring patients receive the best care possible, providing not only medical attention but also emotional support. With a history that dates back more than a century, this day highlights the essential role of nurses, from those working in hospitals to community clinics. Many organizations and communities host events to acknowledge nursing professionals’ hard work, offering a platform for patients and families to share their experiences. As healthcare continues to evolve, the role of nurses is expanding, and their presence is increasingly recognized in medical decision-making and policy. On this day, let’s also remember the challenges nurses face, such as burnout and staffing shortages, urging both respect and support for their invaluable role in healthcare. Engage with fellow supporters and share stories as we honor the incredible work of nurses everywhere.
