... Read moreIf you're someone who loves matcha drinks but prefers a less intense flavor, Beutea's Tea Fairy matcha series might just be the perfect pick for you. Having tried similar matcha drinks like Gu Ming’s double matcha Longjing, I found that Tea Fairy’s take offers a more delicate balance of matcha and Longjing tea aroma, which makes it refreshing without being overwhelming. I recommend trying the pistachio milk cap option—it adds a creamy nuttiness that complements the subtle tea notes beautifully. For those sensitive to sweetness, ordering it without sugar is a good choice, but a slight touch of sweetness, say 25%, can enhance the overall flavor and bring out the matcha’s richness better. When comparing it to heavier matcha drinks, this one leans more towards a light and fresh taste profile, ideal for casual matcha lovers or those new to matcha beverages. Additionally, if you’re curious about the quality behind the tea, the pistachios in the milk cap are quite noticeable and add a lovely texture contrast. This unique combination makes it a standout in the crowded matcha drink market. I’ve heard from fellow fans that Beutea’s matcha series is gaining popularity and is becoming easier to find near you, so keep an eye out! Overall, my personal tip is to enjoy this drink chilled on a warm day as a subtle yet flavorful treat, especially if you're exploring different matcha options beyond the intense ceremonial blends. Give it a try and see how it fits your palate!
