Seven nights with a "weighted blanket" that makes us feel lighter. 😌💤
Some days we sleep for seven to eight hours, but we wake up tired. Maybe the problem is not "little sleep," but how long our bodies take to rest.
So we tried a Sleep Diary with a recently acquired sleep aid item, a "weight blanket," with a tracking, sleeping with it for seven days and seven nights. 🛏️
Speaking of Weighted Blanket or "Weighted Blanket," many people might wonder. It's a heavier blanket than a regular blanket. 🤔
To be clear, it's a blanket designed to be weighted across the surface with a Bead tablet inside.
When tucked onto the body, the weight invariably produces light pressure, giving a sense of attachment, similar to being tightened or tucked.
Unlike regular blankets, which are primarily responsible for keeping warm, Weighted Blanket is designed to increase Deep Pressure or deep pressure gently, which may help some people feel calm, relaxed and lower alertness before bed.
And that's why we wanted to try it ourselves.
Because I've had insomnia before, the body is very tired, but the brain is not resting, some nights go to bed, but the brain is still thinking about work, thinking about what to do tomorrow, plowing my phone, or turning around for hours to sleep.
So let's change the little things in the Bedroom Routine. Let's do Sleep Hygiene by adding Weighted Blanket to it and do 7 NIGHTS SLEEP DIARY. See if you use it for 7 nights continuously, your body will feel different.
DAY 1 Still not used to
The first time the blanket felt quite different from the average blanket because it had more weight attached to the body, so the store gradually increased the use time the next night.
Let's start with about 20 minutes. Let the body adapt gradually.
DAY 2 -3 Long Try Longer Use + Try Blanket All Night
It's getting used to the blanket, to the light pressure that spreads around it, it's like being covered or hugged, the body relaxing.
DAY 5 Sleep Well Feeling Settle From the third night, the blanket began to feel more natural, as the body began to know that quilting = turning on leisure mode.
Days 6-7 began to feel the difference. Day 6 came to take a nap blanket and night 7. What is more noticeable is that we feel that the body is used to using a very weighted blanket as part of the Rest Routine, so that we do not dare to go back to the normal blanket used. 🥲
Conclusion: After 1 week of continuous use. The interesting thing is that Sleep Consistency looks better. There is a sleep cycle at the Full Loop.
But there are also days when Deep Sleep is slow and fast, and there is a little bit of waking up in the middle of the night (but not because of the quilt, waking up, turning off the light and turning off the music, because he fell asleep, the quilt is comfortable, hahahaha).
Of course, Sleep Tracker does not tell you everything about sleep quality, and each person's results are different. The conditions measured are different. Sometimes "getting better sleep" can start by observing ourselves after waking up if we are fresh. If so, it is considered to be accompanied by changing the environment and changing small behaviors, such as
🌙. Reduce light before bed.
📵 Put your phone far away.
☕️ Avoid caffeine during the evening.
🛏️ Make the bedroom nice.
🧘🏻♀️ Have a little ritual before going to bed.
🧘🏻♀️ It takes 5-10 minutes for yourself to Slow Down.
🌙 Add something that makes the body feel safe and relaxed.
And if you want to try Weighted Blanket, what do you choose?
The first thing I want to say is, "The heavier the blanket, the better," because excessive weight can be uncomfortable instead of relaxed. What to look at is the weight that suits us + the weight distribution + the materials of the blanket, especially in Thailand, where the weather is hot. 🥵 the fabric is very important.
The 🎋 we use as Bamboo Viscose is made from natural bamboo pulp. It is cool to touch and suitable for use in our air. And try to choose from the "weight that suits us." You can make an assessment to choose a blanket weight that suits yourself at /
Finally, we spend our days trying to make our lives better, work better, take care of ourselves, exercise, eat good food.
Try to be a better version of yourself than yesterday, but sometimes... what we need most may be a break.
Don't forget to spend a night relaxing, creating a time when the body has repaired, giving us a full battery chart.
Have a night of deep sleep and a bright tomorrow. 🥰
