手ぬぐいって可愛いのに、使い道が決まらなくて引き出しの奥で眠りがち。私も「手ぬぐい 収納」で検索しては、結局たたんでしまうだけ…が多かったです。でも 、折るだけで“置いたら万能”な小物入れになると、使う頻度が一気に上がりました。 私がよく入れているのは、リビングならリモコン・充電ケーブル・ハンドクリーム。キッチンなら個包装のお菓子やコーヒースティック、パンの一時置きにも便利でした（布なので直置きより気分がいい）。玄関なら鍵・印鑑・アクセの仮置きにすると、朝の「どこいった？」が減ります。 折り方のコツは“深さを欲張らない”こと。深めに作ると倒れにくい反面、取り出しにくくなるので、私は浅め→必要なら少しだけ縁を折り返して形を整える、くらいがちょうどよかったです。生地が柔らかくてヘタるときは、ハンカチや薄いタオルを底に1枚敷くと安定します。 「のれん 作り方 縫わない」系が好きな人にも、この“縫わない・道具いらず”は相性◎。手ぬぐいは気軽に洗えるので、汚れやすい場所でも使いやすいのも助かります。 それと、手ぬぐいの飾り方を探している人は、100均の突っ張り棒＋リングクリップで“横置き”の簡易のれん風にするのもおすすめ。季節柄を1枚変えるだけで雰囲気が変わるので、収納だけじゃなく「手ぬぐい 使い方」の幅が広がりました。 使っていない手ぬぐいが1枚でもあるなら、まずは折るだけ収納で“毎日触る場所”に置いてみてください。出しっぱなしでも整って見えると、片づけのハードルがぐっと下がります。
