Dis some openass diary shit, I cannot believe I js be out here like this. Oh well. Update… I’m surprised that I haven’t tried looking for my ex or reach out to him. I’m proud of that actually. Don’t get me wrong I look back here and there bc I’m human but I know what we had is done. I would say gone but I would be lying bc I still love that version of him but he’s been grieved. I miss the memories tbh even if there wasn’t many good. I cherished him , the relationship and that version of myself. As for healing goes… it’s going lol.? I mean I feel the way I went about it isn’t that most greatest ways but it’s better than the last ones. Growing and learning. But now… I’m trying to get over another obstacle that should’ve not been there but what can I say. I have a habit picking up old things.. I will have to leave it alone bc it’s for the best bc it’s messing me uppppp like girl we js went through this chapter and now reopening dis one? Or more like continuing… to end ? However it will unfold itself , I js find it hard for me to get what I want reciprocated back to me…
Navigating the aftermath of a breakup can be a deeply personal and complex journey. From my own experience, I've realized that healing isn’t linear—there are days when reflections on the past feel overwhelming, and moments when you question whether moving on is truly possible. What’s helped me most is acknowledging that it’s okay to feel conflicted: loving the person I was with while understanding that chapter has closed. One strategy I've found useful is embracing the process of grieving the relationship, which can include mourning the 'version' of the person and the relationship we once had. This helps create space for personal growth. It’s important not to rush this process or force closure prematurely because healing requires patience. Another challenge I relate to is the temptation to revisit old relationships or memories, especially when faced with new emotional obstacles. I've learned that while reflecting on these times is normal, repeatedly reopening old wounds can hinder progress. Setting boundaries with myself—like consciously choosing to focus on the present—has been crucial. Finally, grappling with the desire for reciprocation in relationships is a common struggle. Understanding that you can’t control others’ feelings shifts the focus inward, guiding you to seek validation and love from within rather than expecting it back in the same way. This mindset shift fosters self-compassion and resilience. Overall, my journey has taught me that healing is an ongoing process filled with growth, setbacks, and self-discovery. Sharing these experiences openly can help others feel less alone in their struggles and encourage a more mindful approach to moving forward.
