Pack With Me…Newborn Hospital Bag🧸✨

36 Weeks | Pack with me🤰🏽🫶🏽🤱🏽

-With this being my 3rd child, I was able to learn from previous experiences on what was needed and what wasn’t. Either way do what makes YOU feel comfortable✨

Day 1 outfit: I thought this little outfit was really cute🥰

The buttons in between the legs are perfect for easy access during diaper changes. This onesie comes with mittens connected to the bottom of the sleeves so baby doesn’t scratch themselves.

•Onesie, hat & socks (Modern Moments by Gerber) from Walmart

•Pacifier - Bibs from Target

Everything is in the size NB

Day 2 outfit: I originally wanted to only do the long sleeve t-shirt on this day with the hat & socks, but I know hospitals can be really chilly so I added the pants just in case. The long sleeve t-shirt comes with mittens on the bottom of the sleeves. I always loveeee this because mittens can easily slide off of newborns tiny hands.

•Shirt & Pants sold separately, but are both (Carters)

from Burlington

•Hat & Socks (Modern Moments by Gerber) from Walmart

Everything is in the size NB

Day 3 outfit: CHECK OUT day! I packed a hat and gloves that were a bit thicker for this day being that baby will have to go from inside to outside, even though it’s for a short period.

•Onesie & socks (Modern Moments by Gerber) from Walmart

•Hat & mittens (Toby) from Marshalls)

Everything is in the size NB

Receiving blankets - For my other 2 kids I loved swaddling them for about the first 2 months. They seemed to sleep longer and of course they just looked soooo cozy lol. So my thought here was 1 receiving blanket for swaddling during sleep and 1 for the hospital newborn announcement pictures…I haven’t decided which will be for which🤔

•(Parents Choice) from Walmart

Burp cloths - I honestly don’t remember either of my kids spitting up a lot in the hospital after feedings, but just to be on the safe side I packed 3 because hey…everyone is different right?🤭

•(Maliton) from Amazon

Swaddle blanket - Honestly this isn’t a hospital necessity for your babies hospital bag. I never had one with my other 2 children so I am obsessed & ready to use it!

•Burlington

Grooming kit - The only item I will probably be using from this kit is the hair brush. I don’t think it’s really necessary to file down or cut a newborns finger nails straight out of the womb….but hey, that’s just me!

•Burlington

Pacifier case - My daughter didn’t take well to the hospital pacifier, but my son did. I have 3 different brands just in case baby is a little picky🫠 The pacifier case will be attached to the front on the diaper bag for easy access.

•(Aulege) from Amazon

Pipette Travel Kit - This will be my first time ever using this brand so I’m excited. This travel kit was gifted to me and I thought it was perfect for the hospital because it’s small and provides everything I may need. It comes with shampoo, body wash, baby balm, baby oil & baby lotion. Not to mention the bag it comes in is super cute which is somewhat a plus.

•Walmart

✨The only thing that isn’t pictured is the newborn announcement arrival sign. We will also be taking the green blanket seen pictured that says “Hello World”.

•”Hello World” blanket is from Burlington

Hope this helps a mama to be🫶🏽

As you prepare for this exciting journey, consider including these key items to ensure both you and your baby are comfortable. Start with outfits: choose soft onesies, hats, and socks that are easy to change. Look for garments with built-in mittens to prevent scratches. Don't forget essentials like receiving blankets for swaddling and cute announcement photos! Other important items include burp cloths, a grooming kit for baby's first hairbrush, and a pacifier case for convenience. Additionally, consider bringing a swaddle blanket for extra coziness – a comforting item that can help your baby feel secure and warm. Travel kits with baby oils and lotions can also be helpful for post-birth care. It's also beneficial to have multiple pacifiers on hand since some babies can be picky. Ultimately, tailor the contents of your hospital bag to your needs and preferences. Make packing enjoyable by curating a selection of items that will make you feel prepared and excited for your new arrival! Finally, don't forget to include your 'Hello World' blanket for those precious first photos and moments with your newborn.
