Come With Me to Work: New Case Specialist ⚖️🎀
Come With Me to Work: New Case Specialist Edition! ⚖️📂
Ever wondered what it’s like working as a New Case Specialist for a law firm? Let’s go!
-Morning Routine
I start my day with a cup of tea (preferably Ginger & Turmeric). Then, I log in and check for any overnight updates on case intakes, trainings, etc.
-Taking Calls & Screening Clients
A big part of my job is speaking with potential clients who may qualify for legal representation in personal injury or mass tort cases. I listen to their situations, gather necessary details, and determine if they meet the criteria for a case.
-Documenting & Submitting Cases
Every case needs to be properly documented before it’s passed along. Accuracy is key to making sure attorneys have everything they need to move forward.
-Challenges?
Some cases are straightforward, but others require a lot of patience—especially when emotions are high. It’s a balance between compassion and professionalism. Which, I still struggle with as it’s hard to separate your personal beliefs and law sometimes. However, it is doable.
-The Best Part?
Helping people take the first step toward justice! Knowing I play a role in connecting them with legal help makes it all worth it.
