Eggs... Let's talk about it.

Eggs are loved by a lot of people. Me? I love them and buy 2 dozen a week. Let's be honest though, eggs are weird.

I'll explain

There's many ways you can make eggs. Examples, hord boiled, soft boiled, medium boiled, scrambled, fried, omelette, ect. How come when I eat scrambled I can eat 6 eggs... If I hard boil them I can only eat 3. fried? oh boy I can eat 4 but if it's in a sandwich only 1. omelette I only use 2 eggs and it makes me full. I know there's probably a science to it. Explain If you can 😁😁

What's your favorite way to eat eggs? what's your favorite way to MAKE eggs?

I personally love eating hard boiled. I love making scrambled.

(please don't take this post seriously. I was bored and craving eggs... then I started thinking about eggs... I think I like eggs)

... Read moreEggs are truly a fascinating food staple, loved worldwide not only for their nutritional benefits but also for their versatility. The different ways we prepare eggs can significantly change their texture, taste, and satiety level, which explains why you might feel differently full after eating scrambled eggs compared to hard-boiled or fried eggs. For example, scrambled eggs are often cooked with butter or milk, which adds extra fat and calories, making them more filling and easier to eat in larger quantities. On the other hand, hard-boiled eggs are plain and dense, so eating too many can feel heavy and more satiating quickly. Fried eggs, depending on the oil used, can also add fat and flavor, often making them enjoyable but filling after fewer eggs than scrambled. Omelettes are unique because they usually contain additional ingredients like vegetables, cheese, or meats, which add bulk and fiber, making even a couple of eggs quite satisfying. Sandwich eggs are often accompanied by bread or other fillings, and the perceived volume and fullness from the sandwich as a whole can influence how many eggs one consumes. Understanding the science behind eggs’ satiety effects involves looking at their protein content, fat levels, cooking methods, and accompanying ingredients. Protein is known to promote fullness by slowing digestion and influencing hunger hormones. Apart from the science, eggs are popular globally for their ability to be cooked in numerous ways, appealing to many taste preferences and mealtime needs. Whether you love soft boiled eggs dripping over toast, fluffy scrambled eggs with herbs, fried eggs with crispy edges, or hearty omelettes packed with ingredients, eggs provide a nutritious and customizable meal option.
