Bitter sweet is such an understatement! There were a lot of emotions as we drove away from Our Midwest Home (our fixer upper) for the last time.

Lots of firsts…our first home, the home we had when we got married, we found out we were pregnant there, found out our baby’s gender, and had Mylee’s baby shower there.
.
We learned SO much as we remodeled, repainted and updated nearly every inch of the house…but for years we knew the day would come that we’d move back closer to Denver.

We’ve officially moved into our new build home in Bennett, CO. We’re still in the process of decorating and unpacking boxes, but we can’t help but look back and feel grateful for how far we’ve come in just a matter of a couple of years.

We have a few more before and afters to share of our old home…and although this new build won’t need a lot done, we do have plans to redo some areas that we’ll share ☺️
