Another method I love is writing out the verses repeatedly. Engaging both your visual and motor skills can solidify the words in your mind. I also find it helpful to break down longer passages into smaller, manageable chunks, and then gradually build them up. For Psalm 121, I started with just a couple of verses at a time, making sure I had them down before moving on. Understanding the context and meaning of each verse also makes memorization easier and more impactful. When I grasp the profound truth that “He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber,” it’s not just words, but a deep spiritual truth that resonates.
