More of My Favorite Doodles ✍️✨

Hey everyone! So glad you enjoyed my latest doodle dump. I often get asked how I come up with ideas, especially for character sketches, so I wanted to share a little more about my process and hopefully spark some inspiration for your own sketchbook! When I'm looking for 'things to draw', I usually start with simple observations. For instance, you might notice I love sketching different kinds of 'eyes' and 'hands'. They're incredibly expressive! Try drawing a page full of just eyes – angry eyes, happy eyes, sleepy eyes, even eyes with 'purple eyeshadow' like some of my recent ones. You'll be amazed at how quickly you develop a knack for different expressions. The same goes for hands; they can be tricky, but practicing various poses makes a huge difference. Don't worry about perfection; 'pencil doodles' are all about exploration! I've found that breaking down complex subjects into simpler shapes helps a ton when I'm just trying to get an idea down quickly. Developing 'cute characters' is another passion of mine. I often begin with a basic shape for the head, then experiment with different hairstyles and facial features. For the 'cartoon girl with pigtails' you saw, I was playing around with a more innocent, wide-eyed look. Don't be afraid to exaggerate features! A tiny nose, big lips, or a unique jawline can instantly give your character personality. I also love trying to draw 'stylized female faces' – focusing on flowing hair and elegant lines, which is a great way to push your artistic boundaries. Sometimes I just draw a bunch of 'lips' and 'noses' on their own page, like a little character parts library. It's like building a visual vocabulary for your 'doodling characters'. You can mix and match until you find a look you love. If you're ever feeling stuck for 'drawing ideas', here’s a quick tip: draw what you feel. Is there an emotion you want to capture? A 'worried expression' for a character can tell a whole story. Or just pick a random object around you and try to cartoonify it. The beauty of 'doodles' and 'sketches' is that there are no rules. It's all about having fun and letting your creativity flow. Keep a small sketchbook handy, and whenever boredom strikes, just start sketching. You'll be surprised at what you create!
