Firm Up That Loose Skin

As a teenage girl I swore by Nivea products. The lotion in my opinion was the absolute best... and I firmly believe between my good genes and the good ol Nivea lotion in the blue bottle, the original... I believe Nivea helped to lay the foundation for my decent skin...

I recall packing for college and having my mom purchase a 3 bottle bundle from Price Club! Had to have a stash of Nivea for that harsg Oklahoma water and dry heat.

As time went on I succumbed to The Body Shop butters and eventually I ended up at Bath and Bodyworks... not realizing the Bath and Bodyworks line has way too many artificial scents and overtime it was stripping my skin of its natural barrier. So I said goodbye to that mess.

So here I sit 40+ years later and 100lbs lighter with loose skin, not a massive amount of loose skin but enough for me to notice it's there and it's visually unappealing to me. Dude loved it! Yet another reason I'm struggling with our demise. I digress. Any-who I had to handle this skin.

I've been using a post hydration body serum and it has definitely improved the texture of my inner thighs and under arms. But I needed something that would encourage firming.

The BFF mentioned Nivea over the summer and although I received the information I didn't act until 2 weeks ago....

CVS had $4.00 off Nivea lotions and I had a 40% off a single item... and I had a few miscellaneous coupons. When it was all said and done this $20 lotion ended up costing me $3.00! Can you say: WINNING!

But not only winning in getting this lotion on a deep discount... but its some good stuff! It works. I'm 2 weeks in and I see a noticeable difference.

Soooo... for all my weight loss, loose skin girlies check this out, cuz it's doing what it's supposed to do. But why am I shocked? Its Nivea and Nivea has always been THAT GIRL!

..and it softens your skin without feeling greasy.

Go get you some... it's sure to get you right.

Nivea Sheer Hydration Skin Firming w/Q10 and Vitamin C.

I do 6 pumps per target area (inner thighs, boobs, under arms, bootie and stomach)... I do this at night and if I'm home during the day I'll pump and go. I'm heavy handed... plus the bottle is huge, 34 ounces.

Massage in with much vigor! And if you have a significant other, let him do it... it will not only strengthen your bond, it will strengthen your

That’s why I was on a mission to find something that could genuinely help firm up my loose skin, especially since I'd recently shed 100 pounds! My journey led me back to an old favorite: Nivea. Specifically, the Nivea Sheer Hydration Skin Firming lotion with Q10 and Vitamin C. These ingredients aren’t just buzzwords; they’re powerhouses for skin health. Q10 is a natural coenzyme that boosts skin cell energy and aids in collagen production, which is crucial for elasticity. Vitamin C, on the other hand, is a powerful antioxidant that helps brighten skin tone and also supports collagen synthesis. Together, they create a formidable team aimed at improving skin's resilience and firmness. The packaging even boasts firmer skin in 7 days and 72h moisture, which definitely caught my eye! I’ve developed a consistent application routine that I believe has made a huge difference. After my shower, when my skin is still slightly damp, I apply a generous amount. While the original article mentioned 6 pumps per area, I really focus on massaging it in with vigorous, upward strokes, especially on my inner thighs, underarms, and stomach – those areas that needed the most attention. I make sure to spend a few minutes on each section, really working the product into my skin. This not only ensures better absorption but also stimulates circulation, which is beneficial for skin health. I try to do this nightly, and if I'm home during the day, I’ll even reapply to my target areas for an extra boost. While the lotion promises firmer skin in 7 days, I want to be realistic about expectations. You won't see a miracle transformation overnight, but I definitely noticed a significant improvement in my skin's texture and overall smoothness within the first week. The real firming, where I felt my skin was more toned and resilient, became visually apparent around the two-week mark – just like I mentioned in my main post! The 72h moisture claim also holds true for me; my skin feels incredibly soft, hydrated, and never greasy, which is a huge plus. It’s comforting to know that my skin is getting continuous hydration even hours after application. To maximize the results from the Nivea Sheer Hydration Skin Firming lotion, I also make sure I’m staying well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. I've also found that regular, gentle exfoliation helps the lotion penetrate better. While no lotion can replace the benefits of a healthy diet and consistent exercise that tones the muscles underneath the skin, this Nivea lotion has been an amazing, affordable complement to my overall wellness routine. It truly feels like a win to find a product that lives up to its promises without breaking the bank, especially considering how easily you can find the 1000mL or 500mL bottle at such a great value. If you're struggling with loose skin after weight loss or just want to improve your skin's firmness and hydration, I highly recommend giving this Nivea gem a try!
