Hey everyone! I'm always on the hunt for the next great movie to binge, and Tubi has seriously become my go-to for free streaming gems. I wanted to share some of my absolute favorite finds that I've been enjoying lately – these aren't just random picks, they're movies I genuinely loved and rated highly. If you're like me, constantly looking for quality entertainment without a subscription fee, you're in for a treat! Tubi's movie catalog is surprisingly robust, offering everything from intense thrillers to heartwarming dramas, and I've dug through a ton to bring you some must-watches. First up, for all you action and crime fans, you absolutely have to check out 'The Boondock Saints' (1999). This R-rated action/crime/thriller is a cult classic for a reason! Following Irish brothers cleaning up Boston's underworld, it's packed with unforgettable characters and incredibly stylish action. I gave it a perfect 10/10 – it's just that good for a wild ride. Another intense R-rated pick I highly recommend is 'Kidnap' (2017). This thriller/action film starring Halle Berry is a non-stop adrenaline rush. As a mother fighting to rescue her kidnapped son, her performance is gripping and the tension never lets up. It also earned a 10/10 from me for its sheer intensity and emotional pull. If you're into sci-fi with a thought-provoking edge, 'I, Robot' (2004) is a fantastic PG-13 choice. Will Smith leads this action/sci-fi flick about a cop investigating a robot rebellion, and it truly makes you think about artificial intelligence and humanity. I gave it an 8/10; it's a solid watch for an evening of futuristic mystery. Switching gears to drama, 'Frankie & Alice' (2010), an R-rated drama, is a powerful and moving film about a go-go dancer with multiple personality disorder. Halle Berry delivers an incredible performance, making it another 10/10 in my book. It's a deeply emotional story that stays with you long after it ends. For those who enjoy psychological thrillers, 'Serenity' (2019), an R-rated thriller/mystery/drama, offers a unique and twisty plot. It’s about a fishing boat captain whose past catches up to him in unexpected ways. I rated it 8/10 for its intriguing mystery. And if you're looking for some classic suspense, 'Unlawful Entry' (1992) is an R-rated crime/drama/thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat, exploring obsession and danger. I gave this one a 9/10 for its chilling storyline. Tubi isn't just about high-octane action; there are some great TV-14 dramas too! 'Star' (2019) is a compelling drama/musical about three singers in the Atlanta music industry, which I also rated a 10/10 for its engaging story and performances. Another powerful TV-14 drama is 'Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story' (2011), an emotional tale about a mother's desperate fight to rescue her abducted son, earning a 9/10 for its heartfelt narrative. Honestly, the variety on Tubi is incredible. Whether you're in the mood for an R-rated crime flick, a PG-13 adventure, or a TV-14 drama, you can find a quality movie. I encourage you to dive into Tubi's library and discover your own favorites. These are just some of my top movie picks, but there's so much more to explore. Let me know if you end up watching any of these, or if you have any other Tubi recommendations!
