Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve, CO

ᨒ On our roadtrip to Colorado, me and my boyfriend went and visited Great Sand Dunes National Park for the day and we loved it:)

We rented sand boards (they also had sand sleds) from the Oasis store just down the road. It cost us around $20 each for the day and definitely worth it in my opinion!

We went In July and the sun was beating down on us so sun protection is a must and also having plenty of water especially if you are hiking up the dunes, they are massive. The sand is also very hot! I didn’t want sand in any of my shoes and luckily I was comfortable in just my socks.

I wish we had more time to be here as I would’ve loved to see the stars at night 😭

This was such a cool place to be, especially because when I think of Colorado I don’t picture this sort of landscape.

(Always do your own research on an area before visiting and practice leave no trace!🌿)
