Octavia Butler Saw the Future… and It’s Now

Y’all… HOW did Octavia Butler predict all of this?! 🤯

This book shook me. I’d never read Butler before (yes, I watched Kindred on Hulu but never read the book—don’t judge me! 😅), but after seeing so many Booktokers talk about Parable of the Sower, I knew I had to pick it up. And WOW. The way this book mirrors our world today is terrifyingly accurate.

🔥 Fires everywhere.

⚠️ Political & cultural chaos.

📵 Government censorship.

💰 The rich getting richer, the poor getting screwed.

It’s giving “I wrote this in 1993, but you’ll feel it in 2025.”😳

I’m so glad I bought this book because it’s one I want to keep forever. It’s a warning, a prophecy, a guide. Not an easy read, but a necessary one.
