Am I looking for a quick, relaxing project, or something that will challenge me and teach me new techniques? Then, I think about who it's for. Is it a gift for a friend, a cozy item for myself, or perhaps a decorative piece for my home? This helps narrow down the endless possibilities. For instance, a small amigurumi might be perfect for a gift, while a big, chunky blanket is ideal for a long-term personal project. Don't forget the power of seasonal inspiration too! Spring brings delicate lacy shawls and cute market bags, while autumn gets me excited about chunky scarves (like my current Stranger Things one!) and cozy sweaters.
