Psychology pathway
So I’m interested in pursuing Psychology as a career. I’m new to the field entirely. Transitioning from Respiratory therapist to Psychology. I know bachelor’s would give me the upper hand but because i don’t have a foundation of psychology wouldn’t it be reasonable for me to start with associates? I don’t mind taking general ed and pre req. I care more about understanding everything I’m learning. Only took generally psychology and fell in love with it. The associates may be the best way to go to get your general Eds out the way! Plus you can see what elective psych courses are available to start seeing what concentration/area you’ll like most. However, bachelors may offer more potential for things like internships and departmental scholarships.
