Valentine’s Day outing
I just noticed I haven’t uploaded last weeks NYFW pop ups.
I try to take advantage of most events here in NYC
We waited two hours in line for the Prada beauty pop up so I kind of missed out on the others :/ but I’m not mad it was totally worth it 💌
Okay, so I know I mentioned the Prada Beauty pop-up in my original post, but I really wanted to dive deeper into why it was such a highlight of my Valentine’s Day outing in NYC! You guys know how much I love taking advantage of all the cool events here, and this one truly delivered, despite the wait. First off, let’s talk about the anticipation. We got there and the line was already pretty long – a solid two hours, easily! But honestly, the energy was infectious. Everyone was buzzing with excitement, and it felt like part of the experience, soaking in the NYC vibe while waiting for something special. Plus, it was Valentine's weekend, so there were couples, friends, and solo adventurers all looking for a unique celebration. My advice for anyone planning to hit up popular pop-ups? Go early, bring a friend, and embrace the wait – it often adds to the story! Once we finally made it inside, the atmosphere was just *chef's kiss*. The display was stunning, filled with Prada perfumes and those iconic red lipsticks arranged beautifully. There was a prominent sign that read 'LOVE CAPTURE,' which immediately drew my eye to the photo booth area. This wasn't just any photo booth; it had a cool, moss-like surface, and of course, a grand Prada perfume bottle as a prop. The 'LOVE CAPTURE' photo booth was definitely the main event for me. We stepped in, and it was so much fun posing and making memories. Getting that photo booth strip at the end, capturing our silly and sweet moments, made the whole wait worth it. It’s such a perfect souvenir, especially for Valentine’s Day. And then there were the freebies! You know I love a good freebie, and Prada did not disappoint. We scored some fantastic free lipstick and perfume samples. It felt like a little luxury treat just for showing up and being part of the experience. It wasn't just about the products; it was about the generosity and the feeling of being pampered by a high-end brand. The whole setup, from the gorgeous displays of products to the interactive photo booth, felt incredibly well-thought-out and engaging. While I didn't get to all the other pop-ups that weekend (two hours for Prada was a commitment!), I always keep an eye out for unique Valentine's events in NYC. I've seen some amazing ones, like the Venus Fleur Pop Up with its incredible red rose installations, or even special releases like the TOM FORD ROSE EXPOSED FLEUR products. These pop-ups are fantastic for discovering new brands, getting exclusive items, and just enjoying a festive, unique day out. Whether it's for beauty, fashion, or just a fun photo op like the 'LOVE CAPTURE' booth, NYC always has something exciting brewing for occasions like Valentine's Day. It’s all about finding those hidden gems and making the most of the city’s vibrant event scene!
