「鎌倉 うなぎ つるや」で検索している人って、だいたい“お店の雰囲気は？本当に美味しい？行きやすい？”が知りたいはず。私もまさにそれで、特別な日に失敗したくなくて下調べしてから行きました。 つるやは鎌倉の由比ガ浜エリア、江ノ電の和田塚駅から徒歩5分くらい。鎌倉駅から歩くと少し距離はあるけど、海方面に散歩しながら行けるのでデートにもぴったりでした。お店は道沿いにあって入りやすい一方、ガヤガヤ感は少なくて“隠れた名店”っぽい落ち着きがあります。 店内に入ると和の空気感が心地よくて、ゆっくり食事したい日に向いてる印象。個人的に印象的だったのが、入口付近で大きい鯉が出迎えてくれること。ちょっとした非日常感があって、記念日やお祝いのテンションが上がりました。 肝心のうなぎは、身がふわっとしていて香ばしさもしっかり。タレが上品なのにコクがあって、ご飯にまで染みているのがたまらないタイプです。こういうお店のお茶ってなぜか美味しい…って思うことありませんか？つるやもまさにそれで、料理の余韻を邪魔しないのが良かったです。 付け合わせも抜かりなくて、漬物は箸休めにちょうどよく、お吸い物も優しい味。メインのうなぎを引き立ててくれるので、最後まで飽きずに食べられました。結果、リピート確定の満足感。 行く前のコツとしては、週末や観光シーズンは混みやすいので時間に余裕を持つこと。鎌倉観光の途中に入れるなら、少し早めのランチ（または遅めの時間）を狙うと落ち着いて楽しみやすいです。鎌倉で「つるや うなぎ」を探しているなら、“特別な日に行きたい一軒”として覚えておく価値ありだと思います。
