「函館でジンギスカン1位はどこ？」って検索すると候補が多くて迷うんですが、私が旅のついでに食べ歩いて感じたのは“1位＝その日の目的に合う店”を選ぶのが正解、ということでした。函館駅前〜駅近くは特に選択肢が多いので、行く前にここだけ決めておくと失敗しにくいです。 まず、函館駅周辺でジンギスカンを選ぶときのポイントは3つ。 ① 予約が必要か：週末や連休は満席になりやすいので、行きたいお店が決まっているなら電話やInstagramで空き状況を確認するのが安心でした。 ② 入店しやすい時間：ディナー開始直後（16〜17時台）は比較的入りやすい一方、19時前後は一気に混みがち。私は早め入店→2軒目はバーや夜景、の流れが快適でした。 ③ “有名店”か“穴場”か：検索上位の有名店は安心感がある反面、並ぶ可能性も。待ち時間を避けたい日は、少し時間をずらすか、穴場寄りの店を選ぶのがおすすめです。 今回の4選（元祖 箱館ジンギスカン 本店／サクパマタパ／成吉思汗 登楽居／ジンギスカン函館吉田）は、どれも函館駅前から動きやすく、観光の合間に入れやすいのが魅力。私自身「近くのジンギスカン」で探して飛び込みが成功した日もありましたが、人気日程だと“近いのに入れない”こともあるので要注意でした。 当日の動き方のコツも共有します。 ・到着日：荷物を置いたら、駅前で早めのジンギスカン→夜はベイエリア散歩 ・翌日：混雑しやすい時間を避けて17時台スタート→食後はラッキーピエロや夜景へ 最後に、ジンギスカン初心者向けに。焼き始めは野菜を敷いて脂をなじませると焦げにくく、ラムが苦手かも…という人でも食べやすい印象でした。お店によってタレや味付けの個性が出るので、「函館ジンギスカンランキング」みたいに一発で決めるより、“今日は有名店で外したくない”“今日は地元民っぽい穴場に行きたい”で選ぶのがいちばん満足度が高かったです。
