「函館でパン食べ放題って実際どうなの？」と気になっている人向けに、行く前に知っておくと安心なポイントをまとめます。私が行ったのは、日曜限定で開催されるパン屋さんのモーニング食べ放題。いわゆる“パン屋 食べ放題”って、同じパンが並び続けるイメージがあったんですが、ここは焼き上がりのタイミングで出来立てが運ばれてくるのが良かったです。 まず雰囲気としては、朝の時間帯でも落ち着いていて家族連れでも入りやすい印象。食べ放題は60分制なので、最初にガツガツ取りすぎないのがコツです。パンは「小さくカット」されているものもあって、いろんな種類を少しずつ試しやすいのが嬉しいところ。塩パン系・ミニクロワッサン系・惣菜パン系など、甘いだけじゃないので飽きにくいです。 私のおすすめの回り方は、(1)最初は軽めに2〜3種類、(2)次の焼き上がりで気になるものを追加、(3)最後に甘い系で締める、の流れ。焼き上がり時間（8:30/9:30/10:30）でラインナップが変わるので、「どんなものが来るかはその時のお楽しみ」感があります。できれば早めの回から入ると、焼きたての回数を多く踏めて満足度が上がりました。 ドリンク付きなのも地味にありがたくて、コーヒー・紅茶・100%オレンジジュースなどから選べます。パンをたくさん食べる日は口の中が乾きやすいので、私はコーヒーか紅茶が相性よかったです。 注意点もいくつか。予約は電話のみ＆予約優先で11時までの受付、空きがあれば当日案内という形なので、遠方から行くなら事前連絡が安心です。それと、スープは食べ放題の対象外。あと「食べれる分だけ取る」ルールがあるので、まずは少量ずつ→気に入ったらおかわりがベスト。パン食べ放題を気持ちよく楽しむためにも、食べ残しは出さないようにしたいです。 アクセス面では、市電の五稜郭公園前から徒歩圏内で、駐車場も複数パターン（お店前・裏・ホテル地下）と選べるのが便利でした。函館で“パン食べ放題”を探している人は、日曜の朝活としてかなり満足度高いと思います。
