More than a refund! Concord insurance claim ✨

After operating on the tumor using Social Security, there is no additional cost, except for the differential room to pay ourselves. We have a policy that compensates for income and medical treatment substitutes for hospitalization. In the policy, there is an income substitution limit of 3000 per day and a treatment substitution of less than 12,000 baht per treatment. At first, I was secretly stressed because I went to read the review on Pantip. Each review was quite heavy. Many people said that the claim was difficult, was slammed for months, was asked for some history back, so 🥲 I was afraid that ours might have the same problem.

Our Timeline 🗓️

After leaving the hospital, we have fully prepared all the documents that the hospital has issued. We called the call center to contact us to prepare to file. The call center contacted us later that day and emailed us about the preparation of the documents and the file for the related claims, which our income compensation and medical treatment substitutes had to file in two sets of documents, could not be filed online because there were medical expenses that required the actual documents to be submitted.

• Submit a document (containing a form for application for claims, medical certificates and hospital-issued claims, actual treatment receipt and copy, bank account book page to be used to receive the money, a copy of the claimant's ID). Complete 2 sets → Documents to the company on Sept. 1.

• Check with the call center → Tell it takes about 15 days.

• On 12 Feb → SMS, the results and the money entered within the same day.

How much is it? 💰

• Cure: Paid 10,317 Baht → Full return on receipt (limit not exceeding 12,000)

• Income compensation: Sleep in the hospital for 3 days and 2 nights → Pay 3,000 baht per day, get 6,000 baht

Feeling after getting money

Frankly, I was very relieved 🥹 because I was worried from the beginning that I would be overruled for more than 15 days, but I have always been a good customer, insured for five policies in five years, never used it, but I secretly thought that if the claim was difficult, I would not go on...

Brief summary

✔️ get a full and quick refund (within 12 days). Contact with the call center can be a little difficult because we have to greet the chat on LINE and put the call number for the contact officer to return, but after that it is well coordinated, the service officer is considered quite okay.

Our review does not say how good or bad Chubb's insurance is, but wants everyone to see the value of insurance. Many people may think that we have enough health insurance, but actually, income compensation insurance is important because...

• Without health insurance → We may have to gouge to pay for the treatment ourselves, but "income compensation" replaces lost income during hospital sleep.

• The more people work for free, trade, or income is not constant → Having compensation per day reduces the burden of regular expenses (home installment, family expenses).

• The limit does not have to be very high, but it helps us to be more comfortable with our illness. Our monthly / monthly allowance is paid 490 baht per month via credit card every month, but if paid annually, the premium will be cheaper.

This time it's lucky to make money fast, but I still think that if the future is really difficult, I'll have to revisit it.
