A Tasty Filling Breakfast 🍳

Eggs are my go-to breakfast. Seriously, there’s rarely a time when I don’t feel like having eggs in the morning.

Sunny Side Up Eggs

Ingredients:

* 1 egg

* 1 tsp Oil - I use Avocado oil

* A dash of salt

Directions:

* Stovetop - medium heat.

* Use 1 tsp of oil. I like to use avocado oil because it's a healthy option with a higher smoke point.

* Once it's warmed up, crack the eggs, being careful not to break the yolk

*⏲️ Let the eggs cook for 2-4 minutes.

*Close the lid for 1 minute

*When the egg whites no longer look raw, you're good to go.

✨Would you dip your toast in this yolk or nah?

✨ Breaking the yolk immediately or saving it for last — which is correct? Which one are you?

Enjoy✨

... Read moreSunny side up eggs are an absolute classic breakfast choice that really never gets old. What I love most about this preparation is how simple yet satisfying it is. Using avocado oil instead of traditional oils like butter or vegetable oil not only adds a subtle nutty flavor but also brings health benefits due to its rich monounsaturated fats and high smoke point, which prevents burning and keeps the eggs tasting clean. When I cook sunny side up eggs, I always opt for medium heat. This slower cooking process ensures the whites set perfectly without overcooking the yolk, leaving it luscious and runny—ideal for dipping toast or savoring as is. Closing the lid for a minute during the cooking helps steam the egg whites from above, speeding up the process without flipping, which preserves that beautiful sunny yolk intact. One interesting tip is to crack the egg carefully to avoid breaking the yolk, especially if you want that rich, golden center to stay whole. Speaking from experience, a tiny dash of salt enhances the flavor while allowing the egg’s natural richness to shine through. Everyone has their own preference on whether to break the yolk immediately or save it for last. I’ve found that breaking it last keeps the egg plate visually appealing and lets you enjoy the contrast of textures—from the soft whites to the creamy yolk. Plus, dipping toast into that rich yolk is one of life’s simple pleasures! As someone who relies on quick yet nutritious breakfasts, this method of cooking sunny side up eggs has become my go-to. It’s easy to prepare, healthy, and perfectly customizable with different oils or seasoning. Adding some fresh herbs like chives or parsley can also elevate the dish, adding a burst of color and fresh flavor without complicating the preparation. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a tasty, healthy, and fuss-free breakfast, give sunny side up eggs with avocado oil a try. It’s a wonderful way to start your day energized and satisfied.
