My sunscreen collection - part. 1: chemical SPFs ☀️
Hi ladies! Ho are you? 🫶🏻 Summer is all about enjoying the sun but let's not forget to protect our skin with a good suncreen! Today I am sharing with you some of my chemical sunscreens! The next part will be around physical sunscreens :)
1. Innisfree Daily UV Defense sunscreen
This sunscreen blends daily wear with effective UV protection, boasting lightweight texture & fast skin absorption. 100% no white cast & suitable for all skin types!
2. La Roche Posay Anthelios Light Fluid Sunscreen
This sunscreen is as watery as milk! If you have dry skin & like liquid sunscreens, it will be an amazing fit for you!
3. Beauty of Joseon Rice Sun Relief
This is one of the most viral Korean sunscreen these days! And I can get why because it's really a good product 🫶🏻 it combines rice water, centella asiatica, and a broad-spectrum SPF for a gentle & hydrating protection. It's suitable for dry skin as it's very rich!
4. Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel
This is the most lightweight sunscreen I own! Perfect for oily skins :) it's infused with hyaluronic acid, providing sun protection while maintaining skin's moisture for a refreshed feel.
Have you tried some of these? What do you think?? ❤️

Hey skincare fam! Picking the right sunscreen can feel like a quest, but trust me, finding one with the perfect texture makes all the difference. Especially when we're talking about chemical sunscreens, their feel on the skin is super important for daily wear and reapplication. From my experience, lightweight gel and watery textures are game-changers. Why? Because they simply disappear into your skin! No heavy feeling, no sticky residue, and most importantly, no dreaded white cast. This is particularly crucial for those of us who wear makeup or just prefer a natural finish. I've found that these lighter formulations are far more enjoyable to wear, which means you're more likely to use them consistently – and consistency is key for sun protection! When I'm swatching sunscreens, whether it's a creamy swatch from a tube or a liquid, watery consistency from a bottle, I'm always looking for that quick absorption. For oily or combination skin types, a truly lightweight texture, especially a gel, is a blessing. It provides ample sun protection without adding to excess shine or clogging pores. The Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel, for example, is my go-to for its incredibly lightweight texture that feels almost like nothing on the skin, making it ideal for oily complexions. But don't think lightweight means less hydration! Many of these formulas, like the Beauty of Joseon Rice Sun Relief, manage to be very rich and hydrating while still feeling light, which is fantastic for dry to normal skin types. And for those who prefer the thinnest possible consistency, French sunscreens often excel with their liquid, watery textures. The La Roche Posay Anthelios Light Fluid Sunscreen is a perfect example; it's as watery as milk and just melts in, making it a dream for dry skin that needs that extra slip. So, if you're still searching for that perfect chemical sunscreen – one with a lightweight gel texture or a silky watery feel that blends seamlessly and leaves no white cast – focusing on these descriptors in reviews and product descriptions can really guide you. It’s all about finding that comfortable, effective SPF that you'll genuinely look forward to applying every single day!
